A Royal Living room Set

Hand encarved traditional designs crafted of wood(mahogany). It is composed of a sofa, two chairs, two armchairs and a gueridon table with exquisite gilt bronze decoration.

Sofa and armchairs

The wood framing of the sofa and armchairs is embellished with wood and foliage. The arms are resting on sphinx and the belt is decorated with a frieze of stylized oak-leaves. Each piece is set on four legs. The rear legs are sabered, the front legs are straight and decorated with gilt bronze paws and foliages.

The chairs:

The 2 chairs have gilt bronze sphinx decoration and sabered legs. They are covered with beige upholstery fabric with stripes pattern.

Table:

This wood(mahogany) and gilt bronze gueridon table is resting on a central foot above a tripod base. The base is surmounted by three dark wood columns decorated with brass capitals and sphinx. The tray in wood marquetry displays floral decoration and ormolu festoons, and the belt is highlighted with rosettes and foliage.

Skillfully crafted in antique style, with outstanding bronze decoration, this living room suite is a rare find.
